Wilson, WI (October 25, 2023) – A fatal truck accident reported in western Wisconsin claimed the lives of two people on Monday evening, October 23.
Just before 5:45 p.m., the Wisconsin Department of Transportation notified the Wisconsin State Patrol that an automobile collision occurred on Interstate 94.
Crash reports indicate that a semi-truck collided with multiple other vehicles on the interstate just before the bridge for Highway 128. The incident caused delays just south of Wilson as emergency crews worked to clear the scene. At least one vehicle caught on fire as a result of the collision.
Two people suffered fatal injuries as a result of the fiery incident.
Six additional victims were injured. Medics provided care and transported the injured victims to local hospitals.
The crash is being investigated.
