Madison, WI (September 30, 2023) – The Wisconsin State Patrol confirmed that a 30-year-old man from Madison, Wisconsin, lost his life as a result of a crash that occurred late Friday morning, September 29.
Reports provided by WSP indicate that a male pedestrian was struck by a while traveling on Interstate 39/90. The semi was traveling eastbound at the time of the accident when it collided with the pedestrian near mile marker 143.4, just south of the US Highway 18 interchange.
Authorities arrived at the scene at approximately 11:40 a.m. and located the severely injured man on the right side of the roadway, lying on the shoulder. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased due to his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
