Rice Lake, WI (August 22, 2023) – Police say two motorcyclists crashed on Saturday night in Rice Lake. One lost their life after being flown to the hospital. The deceased person was identified as Charles Kee, 37.
Another motorcyclist, identified as a 31-year-old man, fled the scene but was located by police a short time later. His name has not been reported at this time.
Sources report the incident occurred on County Highway M at approximately 10:15 p.m. The two motorcyclists were involved in a crash which caused them to both lose control.
Authorities in Rice Lake continue to investigate. The highway was closed for over 4 hours while emergency responders worked in the area, resulting in significant traffic delays.
