Madison, WI – Multi-Vehicle Collision Leads to Injuries on Beltline

Madison, WI (July 26, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle collision that took place on a highway in Madison on the evening of Wednesday, July 26.

According to Wisconsin Department of Transportation officials, the accident happened around 5 p.m. on the Beltline highway around the area of Todd Drive. Police confirmed that multiple vehicles were involved in a chain-reaction collision due to reasons that are not entirely known. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged in the accident.

Several responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked for an hour or so before police were able to clear the scene.
