Wautoma, WI (November 12, 2023) – The Wautoma Police Department responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place on Saturday and left one woman with significant injuries.
On November 11, the Wautoma Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash on South Fair Street.
According to authorities, a pickup truck was traveling in the 400 block of the roadway when it crashed into a residential structure in the area. The vehicle proceeded through the living room of the residence.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and located a female under the truck, unconscious. The victim was treated by medical personnel and airlifted from the scene to a local hospital for emergency care. No other injuries were reported.
At this time, the Wisconsin Highway Patrol Accident Reconstruction Unit is investigating.
