Brothertown Twp., WI (November 25, 2023) – A crash involving two vehicles reported on Wednesday evening claimed one person’s life. The accident occurred at around 5:35 p.m. on November 22.

According to local law enforcement, a head-on collision between two vehicles occurred on Highway 161 during the evening hours. The incident prompted the Calumet County Sheriff’s Office to close off the roadway near Indian Road.

A 19-year-old involved in the crash was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 28-year-old man sustained injuries and was transported to Theada-Care Regional Medical Center in Neenah for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
