Waukesha Co., WI (October 29, 2023) – A 74-year-old woman was hospitalized with injuries as a result of an automobile accident involving multiple vehicles that took place in Waukesha County on Saturday afternoon.
At around 12:30 p.m. on October 28, authorities were notified that an automobile accident occurred on Grandview Boulevard.
Official reports show that the police attempted to stop a vehicle for multiple traffic violations in the area of Grandview Boulevard and Interstate 94. The vehicle fled the scene by taking the on-ramp from the eastbound side of the interstate. The police initiated a pursuit. However, it was immediately terminated.
The suspect fled down the roadway before making an evasive maneuver and traveling across three lanes of the road. The vehicle collided with another vehicle, causing it to roll over multiple times before striking a second vehicle on the road.
The suspect’s vehicle then spun out and collided with a tree.
The driver of the vehicle, a 20-year-old male suspect, was taken into police custody.
The driver of one of the other vehicles involved, a 74-year-old woman, sustained multiple injuries. She was rushed to an area hospital for emergency care.
At this time, investigations into the crash are underway.
