Village of Osceola, WI (October 9, 2023) – A fatal accident reported on Friday in the Village of Osceola claimed one person’s life.
At around 8:15 a.m. on October 6, the Osceola Police Department responded to the scene of an accident that occurred on South Highway 35.
According to reports, two vehicles collided in the 600 block of the roadway during the morning hours. Matthew Barilla of Forest Lake, Minnesota, who was driving one of the involved vehicles, sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash. He was transported by ambulance to Osceola Medical Center, where he passed away from his injuries.
The second driver, who was identified as Connor Parson of Osceola, Wisconsin, was treated for minor injuries.
At this time, the crash is being investigated.
