Fatal Car Accidents in Wisconsin

Utica, WI – Two Women Killed in Car Crash on County Rd M near Banville Rd

Fatal accidents take the lives of hundreds of people across Wisconsin every year. There are many instances where these accidents are completely preventable. However, we continue to witness the overwhelming impact that a fatal accident can have on surviving families.

There are countless instances where people lose their lives as a result of drivers who are traveling too fast for road conditions, distracted, or impaired. These and other senseless and careless actions continue to cause severe harm and fatal injuries to innocent people on our roads.

After losing a loved one in a fatal accident, families have the ability to file wrongful death claims against those who are responsible. A wrongful death action can help your family get financial compensation for some of the losses you face. This can include:

  • Funeral Costs: After losing a loved one, it is only right that you are able to get the financial resources needed to cover funeral costs, burial expenses, and various other end-of-life costs.
  • Lost Earnings: There are many cases where the loss of a loved one also deprives families of a source of income that they have grown to depend on. For this reason, families have the ability to recover compensation for the loss of earnings that have been forced upon them.
  • Loss of Consortium: This can include recovering compensation for the loss of parental guidance, loss of compassion, loss of companionship, and more.

Seeking guidance from a wrongful death lawyer in Utica is critical. Your attorney will be able to demand full compensation for these and other losses that you face.
