Madison, WI – Fatal Motorcycle Crash on I-39/90 near Highway 12/18

Madison, WI (October 30, 2023) – A motorcyclist lost their life in a fatal collision that occurred in Madison on a Saturday afternoon. The incident was reported to the Wisconsin State Patrol at approximately 3:30 p.m. on October 28th.

According to police reports, a 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600 driven by a 20-year-old man from Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, was traveling on the southbound side of Interstate 39/90. At the same time, a 21-year-old man from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, was driving a 2006 Suzuki GSX-R600. For reasons unknown, the vehicles collided near Highway 12/18.

The 21-year-old suffered injuries and was transported by ambulance to a local medical facility.

The 20-year-old man was fatally injured in the crash.

The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the incident.
