Fitchburg, WI – Two Hurt in Crash on County Highway MM near Schuster Rd & Schneider Dr

Fitchburg, WI (October 24, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident took place in the Fitchburg area on Monday morning that left two people hurt. The Fitchburg Police Department reported the accident at around 7:30 a.m. on October 23.

According to police reports, two vehicles collided along County Highway MM. The incident prompted the police and the Dane County Sheriff’s Office to close down the roadway between Schuster Road and Schneider Drive. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the accident. The two vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Two people were injured as a result of the crash. Both victims had to be extricated by firefighters. The two victims were then transported to local hospitals. At least one of the victims suffered significant and potentially life-threatening injuries.

The accident is currently being investigated.
