Statistics from 2022 alone show that nearly 600 people died as a result of vehicle accidents in the state of Wisconsin. These accidents often take place due to preventable circumstances. It is all too common to see innocent lives cut short due to drivers who are speeding, running red lights, and failing to yield to others. Accidents involving pedestrians, in particular, are likely to result in severe and fatal injuries.

When victims lose their lives in auto accidents, families are often left struggling to move forward. Dealing with the emotional void that these accidents cause, and the overwhelming financial burdens are not something that many families are prepared to deal with. For this reason, the state of Wisconsin provides surviving family members with the ability to take legal action against those who are responsible.

After a fatal crash, your family may be able to recover compensation for some of the losses and damages that you face. This can include lost earning capacity, loss of services, loss of companionship, and more. You are also able to recover compensation for funeral and burial expenses so that you can provide your loved one with the respect they deserve before laying them to rest.
