Freedom, WI (September 29, 2023) – One person was killed in a crash that occurred on Thursday morning in Outagamie County.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of the crash at around 5:30 a.m. on September 28.
According to reports from the Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle was traveling north on County Highway EE during the morning hours. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection of County Highway S, it failed to yield the right of way.
The vehicle pulled into the intersection and collided with a semi-truck.
The two vehicles then struck a pickup truck, which was traveling westbound on the roadway.
One person was fatally injured in the accident and pronounced dead at the scene.
A second victim was injured and transported by ambulance to a local medical facility. The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
