Eaton, WI (September 7, 2023) – All three occupants of a vehicle lost their lives in a traffic collision in Eaton on Wednesday night, September 6. Emergency medical crews, police, and other responders were sent to the scene of the crash at around 7:50 p.m.
Reports show the incident occurred on State Highway 67 and County Highway C. At this time, the Wisconsin State Patrol is working to reconstruct the collision, however, preliminary reports show a 2007 Chevy Cobalt was headed west on County C when it ran a stop sign at the T intersection with Highway 67. The Cobalt entered the intersection before going into a ditch and then striking a barn.
The male driver and both passengers were found deceased at the scene by first responders. Police have not released any information about the identities of the victims at this time.
St. Nazianz Fire Department and First Responders, Kiel police and fire departments, and Vanders Fire Department and Ambulance, along with the Manitowoc County Coroner’s Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol all responded to the scene in order to render aid.
Police continue to investigate the details of the accident.
