Sheboygan, WI (August 16, 2023) – One person lost their life, and a child was hurt in a car crash in Sheboygan. Reports show the incident occurred on Monday, August 14.
Several responders, including police and EMTs, went to the scene just before 4:30 p.m. to render aid. It happened on I-43 near Wisconsin State Highway 23. Preliminary reports show that a 31-year-old man from Sheboygan was involved in a head-on crash with a tractor-trailer.
The man lost his life, and a three-year-old passenger received injuries. The child was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment and is expected to be okay. The operator of the tractor-trailer sustained no injuries in the crash.
Police in Sheboygan continue to investigate the details of the crash.
