Madison, WI (August 10, 2023) – One person lost their life after a fatal accident in Madison. Reports from authorities say the accident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. on the morning of August 10.
The cause of the accident is still under local law enforcement investigation at this time. Reports show that the incident took place in the 400 block of West Washington Avenue near North Broom Street in the early morning hours on Thursday.
Crews went to the scene to find a vehicle that was split in half off of the roadway. Police report that more than one individual was present inside of the vehicle, and at least one of them had lost their life due to the collision.
The roadway was blocked while emergency responders worked to clear the scene.
