Madison, WI (August 25, 2023) – A major car accident happened in Madison on the evening of Friday, August 25. At around 3:45 p.m., responders went to the scene of the crash on Interstate 94.
Reports show the incident occurred on I-94 near County HH and Lyndon Station. Paramedics, police, and other emergency crews were seen helping those involved shortly after it took place.
All lanes of the interstate were blocked for several hours while the crash site was occupied. Traffic was backed up for six miles due to the accident.
Those with injuries were treated on-site and transported to the hospital. No one involved has been identified at this time.
