Green Bay, WI (August 2, 2023) – A driver lost his life in a traffic accident involving a mini-van and a semi-truck in Green Bay. The wreck was reported to officials in the area just before 7:15 a.m.
The deceased victim was identified as 51-year-old Jacob Denny, of Green Bay. Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of South Broadway after receiving calls concerning the incident. Initial reports reveal a head-on collision happened between the van and the tractor-trailer.
CPR was administered to Denny at the scene, however, he lost his life on-site. A 21-year-old female passenger in the mini-van sustained serious injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment. She is expected to survive.
The semi-driver, a man from Oconto, age 50, was uninjured.
