Sturtevant, WI (July 23, 2023) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place at a Sturtevant intersection on the afternoon of Sunday, July 23.

According to Racine County officials, the accident happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Durand Avenue and 90th Street. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection simultaneously, causing them to collide with one another. The involved vehicles sustained severe damage in the collision.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were treated on scene by EMS crews and then taken to local hospitals for further treatment.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time after the accident. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible so traffic could resume as normal.
