Menasha, WI (July 30, 2023) – At 11:30 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, July 27, a pedestrian crash with injuries occurred at a Menasha intersection.

According to Winnebago County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Valley Road and Schindler Place. Police confirmed that two or more pedestrians were walking in the area when they were suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle at the intersection. The driver of the vehicle allegedly stayed on scene.

Menasha paramedics and fire crews were dispatched to the scene to help. The pedestrians, who have not yet been identified, sustained injuries in the accident. They were hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The road was blocked at the intersection for some time following the accident. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible.
