Allouez, WI (July 22, 2023) – At 11:41 p.m. on the night of Friday, July 21, two people were killed in a fatal car accident in Allouez.
According to Brown County officials, the accident happened at the Kwik Trip located at 2203 South Webster Avenue. Police confirmed that a 21-year-old man from Green Bay was traveling north in his Mercedes Model E on Webster when he was suddenly struck by a 28-year-old male driver from Green Bay who was making a turn in a Toyota Scion. Both vehicles came to a stop and sustained extensive damage.
Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the Toyota, who has not yet been formally identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The passenger in the Mercedes was also pronounced deceased due to traumatic injuries. Four other people involved in the accident were taken to the hospital, one of which remains in critical condition.
Due to the severity of the accident, a power pole broke off, and power went out in the area for some time. The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time until the scene was cleared.
