Waukesha, WI – Fatal Accident at Les Paul Pkwy & W St Paul Ave

Waukesha, WI (June 5, 2023) – One person lost their life in a fatal car accident that took place at an intersection in Waukesha on Sunday, June 4.

According to Waukesha Police, the accident happened in the morning hours at the intersection of Les Paul Parkway and West St. Paul Avenue. Police confirmed that two vehicles were traveling in the area when they were involved in a collision with one another at the intersection. The involved vehicles were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.

Several Waukesha responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One of the occupants inside one of the vehicles, identified as a 76-year-old male, was rushed to Waukesha Memorial Hospital but was tragically pronounced deceased while there due to traumatic injuries.

Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the road was blocked in the area for some time. The other operators and passengers involved in the accident remained at the scene to cooperate with police.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
