Union Grove, WI – Man Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash at Colony Ave & Plant Rd

Union Grove, WI (June 12, 2023) – A man was killed in a fatal motorcycle crash that took place at an intersection in Union Grove on the evening of Friday, June 9.

According to Racine County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Colony Avenue and Plant Road around 7 p.m. Police confirmed that a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Nissan Altima were involved in a collision due to reasons that are not fully known. Both of the vehicles were found off the side of the road in a farm field with extensive damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as a 22-year-old man from Greendale, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. The driver of the Nissan, identified as a 25-year-old woman, was hurt and taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

The roadway was blocked in multiple lanes of traffic until the scene was cleared.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues. Police will update with new information as it becomes available.
