Milwaukee, WI – Three-Vehicle Crash with Injuries at 76th St & Florist St

Milwaukee, WI (June 27, 2023) – A three-vehicle collision with injuries took place at an intersection in Milwaukee on the afternoon of Monday, June 26.

According to Milwaukee Police, the accident happened around 1 p.m. at the intersection of 76th Street and Florist Street. Police confirmed that a vehicle was headed east on Florist when the driver attempted to make a left turn onto 76th Street. The vehicle collided with a second vehicle that was headed west at the time. The collision was so forceful that it sent one of the vehicles into a third vehicle, leading to extensive damage.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. Two passengers inside one of the vehicles, identified as a 3-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy, had to be extricated from the vehicle. They were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of another vehicle, identified as a 32-year-old man from Milwaukee, was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

Police confirmed that the driver of the second vehicle, identified as a 22-year-old man from Milwaukee, was arrested for a license violation. The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time following the accident.

No further details have been released, but the investigation into the collision continues.
