Delafield, WI (June 15, 2023) – Two people sustained injuries in a rollover collision that took place on a highway in Delafield on Thursday afternoon, June 15.
According to Wisconsin State Patrol, the accident happened at 4:38 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-94 around the area of Highway 83. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling west on the highway when they experienced some sort of medical condition. This caused the vehicle to veer into the other lane, colliding with a second vehicle. The second vehicle then went off the side of the road and rolled at least once before coming to a stop. The involved vehicles were badly damaged in the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other Delafield responders were dispatched to the scene to assist those in need. Both the driver of the first vehicle and the driver of the second vehicle sustained injuries in the accident, one of which was unconscious at the scene. The parties were transported to a local hospital for treatment, but their conditions are not yet known.
Westbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police cleared the scene around 7:30 p.m.
