Trenton, WI (May 23, 2023) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in an accident that took place in Trenton involving a farm tractor on Saturday afternoon, May 20.

According to Dodge County officials, the accident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Jersey Road. Police confirmed that a farm tractor was traveling south and pulling a wagon behind it when the driver started to make a turn into the driveway of a farm. The driver of a motorcycle collided with the farm tractor and struck the wagon.

Several local responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, identified as a 42-year-old Markesan man, was seriously injured and taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter. Nobody else was hurt in the accident.

Due to the severity of the accident, a portion of the road was blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays until the scene was cleared.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time. Police will update with new information as it becomes available.
