Solon Springs, WI – Man Killed in Fatal Rollover Crash on Hwy 35 Near County Rd T

Solon Springs, WI (May 24, 2023) – A man was killed in a rollover crash that took place on a highway in Solon Springs on the morning of Tuesday, May 23.

According to Solon Springs Police, the accident happened in the morning hours on Highway 35 around the area of County Road T. Police confirmed that a driver was traveling in the area when they swerved to miss an object that was lying in the middle of the road. Their vehicle lost control, causing it to roll over. One of the backseat passengers was immediately ejected from the vehicle.

Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The individual who was ejected from the vehicle, identified as a 24-year-old man from Minnesota, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Another passenger inside the vehicle was rushed to the hospital for treatment of injuries but is expected to be okay.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident until police cleared the scene. This led to extensive delays.

No further details have been released, but the investigation remains ongoing.
