Duluth, WI – Haines Rd Scene of Fatal Accident near Skyline Parkway

Duluth, WI (August 27, 2023) – A car crash happened in Duluth that took the lives of two individuals. Reports show the incident occurred at around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 26. 

Numerous responders went to the scene to render aid shortly after the accident occurred. It happened on Haines Road near the intersection of Skyline Parkway, approximately two miles southwest of downtown Duluth. 

Information from local officials shows the incident occurred when a 2001 Ford F-150 was headed south on the road when it left the road and hit a concrete barrier. Despite lifesaving efforts made by paramedics, two victims inside the vehicle lost their lives. 

They were identified as Justice Dawn-Marie Williams and Shelly-Ann Morton of Duluth. They both lost their lives at the scene. At this time, police in the area continue to investigate the reason the collision occurred.
